Sometimes I wonder how I get myself into these situations...

I do a lot of stuff.

I'm not saying that in a bragging way.  It's just the nature of the way my life is structured.  And I'm grateful that I have the time (and the fabulous  husband who indulges me) to do all the things I do.

Usually you'll find me here at home in my Suburban Cuban-American Bubble, cooking Cuban food and writing about it, or pining away over Andy Garcia (=D), or most recently, confessing my never-ending love and devotion to Desi Arnaz Jr. (sigh)

I can be found homeschooling my kids or driving them around to various events.  Or doing creative stuff. 

But tonight, I will be stepping out of my comfort zone just a bit.

I'll be co-hosting the Babalú Radio Hour with George "Pitbull" Moneo and Reinier "El Gusano" Potts this evening.

Both of them are absolutely brilliant and I confess that I'm intimidated by the thought of being on the show with these "wise guys."  ;-)

While they're explaining the nuances of the economic bailout and the distinctions between Obama and McCain(and dropping the occasional f-bomb, but that's not important right now), I'll be the one stuttering in the background....

"Ummm.....yeah! What he said! Hey, is anybody hungry??"
