I'm fine.

I'm fine.
Really I am.

My 15 year-old-sophomore-in-high-school daughter is taking two courses at our local community college.

No, she wouldn't agree to wear a turtleneck or a burqa

And even though she doesn't mind me walking her to her classes (like she'd be able to stop me!), she made me swear on a stack of bibles that I wouldn't be bringing my camera anywhere near the perimeter of where her instruction takes place.

Okay, so I didn't swear I wouldn't use my phone... ;-)

That's my little girl in the rust-colored shirt, with her ponytail hanging down her back, sitting in one of her COLLEGE classes waiting for instruction. (heavy sigh)

I'm fine. Really I am.

FINE.

"You know what FINE stands for don't you?"
"Unfortunately, yes...
Freaked out. Insecure. Neurotic. And Emotional."
