Five Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Six Hundred Minutes

I take photos every day. Every day.
Okay, maybe not every single day.  But most days.  ;-)

I took photos every single day of December, and it was pretty effortless for me because my camera was attached to me like an unusual black appendage growing out of my forehead.

But this year, I'm determined to take a photo a day to document my year (what? like a resolution?? Noooo).  Ambitious?  Probably.

I got the idea for this project from Photojojo.  And I already take my camera everywhere and photograph everything (especially food, but that's not important right now =D).

I like the concept of photo-documenting the simple moments of my life.  That, as I've mentioned before, is one of the reasons why I blog.  So that I can tell my own stories.  I think I'm a born story-teller, and I suppose you could spin that in a negative way, but that's not important right now.  =D

I have been pulling the daily photos into Photoshop Elements and just adding the date and a small caption and printing them out.  Because of my impatience, I can't wait to see what it will all look like at the end of the year.  That's why I scrapbook.  Because time really does fly.  And I hate missing stuff.  Especially the little things.

So, I'm going to be taking pictures every single day this year.

One whole year.
It seems like a really long time. . .
365 days.
52 weeks.
12 months.
525,600 minutes.

Or, as my good friend, Keb,  (who just happens to be one year older today - Happy Birthday, my friend!) always reminds me:

"It's just one day at a time." ;-)
