Because we are an equal-opportunity family...

My nephew's wife is Jewish.  Which I think makes their kids Jubans. =D

And so they celebrate this season (quite cleverly) with both a Christmas tree and a Menorah.

We will be going to the home of Jewish friends tonight to celebrate the first night of Hanukah. (Or is it spelled Chanukah?  Or Hanukkah?  Not really sure, but that's not important right now.)

I mean, I went to Catholic school, so I can recognize words in Latin. Hebrew however is waaaay off my radar.

Which is why it's amazing to me when tiny Jewish kids can recite long passages of the Torah.

For all of you who know what to do with dreidels and menorahs, here's my grand-nephew, Alex saying The Blessing.

Mazel tov!
