Cubans and Dodgers and Hats, Oh My!

The signal that summer is really and truly officially here is that The Boys Of Summer are doing their thing. That's right. It's baseball season and here in the LA area, our true loves are the Boys in Blue - The Los Angeles Dodgers.

It gets better...

Because, what would baseball season in LA be without Cuban Heritage Day at Dodger Stadium? This year the party starts on Sunday, July 3rd, 2016 as the Dodgers take on the Colorado Rockies.

Even so, whether you're going to be in LA or not that weekend, I think you're definitely going to want to own this beauty right here, so you can represent.

Isn't it gorgeous?

I'll share my baseball fantasy with you. (Don't judge.) I can already picture a sea of Cuban fans wearing their best Dodger blue on Cuban Heritage Day and keeping cool (that works on two levels) with these Cuba/LA caps.

Only $17.00 plus shipping, you can get them at HabanaBrandClothing and show your Cuban baseball pride.

Here's the info on getting tickets to the game (so you can wear your caps and make my fantasy come true, but that's not important right now).

Here's the link to the Dodger site so you can get your tickets: Dodgers.com/Cuba. Remember - I want to see you in all your Cuban and Dodger Blue awesomeness representing our love for baseball and our fabulous Cuban community.

The game starts at 1:30, but be sure to come 2 hours prior to enjoy all the pre-game Cubanity with the Cuban themed Viva Los Dodgers Pre-game Festival. Also, did I mention that our very own Jencarlos Canela will be singing the National Anthem? I know. Shut up. Just appreciate this...

Gratuitous selfie with Jencarlos Canela and my good friend, Rose.

Picture a sea of Cubans, all wearing Dodger blue and matching Cuba/LA hats, cheering on our boys in blue, and of course, celebrating baseball and Cubanity. You will NOT want to miss this!

Oh! The Cubanity! Members of the CHDDS Committee representing. ¡Dale!
