Versailles Restaurant Cookbook - A Winner
/Okay, people. Can I just tell you that I love when you talk about Cuban food?
My take-away when I read all your comments was, "Wow. We Cubans are passionate in our love for our food."
That's really true, isn't it? Personally, there's something about the sublime blend of flavors in the almighty sofrito. The texture of a beautiful plantain. The variety of soups. The endless list of desserts. So much goodness to choose from. The food of our memories, our imaginations, and our abuelas' kitchen.
And the memories of wonderful meals and events at Versailles? So many great stories about Cuban comfort food and celebrations.
Thank you all for sharing. Sadly, I only have one autographed Versailles Restaurant Cookbook to give away. But, congratulations to the lucky winner!
Irma, please send me an email with HEY, MARTA! I WON STUFF ON YOUR BLOG! in the subject line. Include your mailing address so I can get your beautiful cookbook out to you immediately.
Thanks again to all of you who entered. Thank you to Versailles in Miami for being the place to go in Little Havana and for putting us all on the map. And a great big thank you to my friend, the talented Ana Quincoces for sponsoring this giveaway for MBFCF readers.
I love when you talk Cuban food to me.
