A Sasquatch by any other name would smell as sweet

I have 2 sons. Having sons gives me a glimpse into another world that would probably not even show up as a blip on my radar if it weren't for them.

Take the following example:
There are dozens of names for the quasi-mythical ape-like creature with the massive feet who purportedly roams the great northwest. He is known most commonly as "Bigfoot."

But here are some more names for the elusive beast ....

  • The Wood Man
  • Bushmen
  • Timber Giants
  • Big Figure
  • Bukwus
  • Wild Man of the Woods
  • Tsadjatko, or giants
  • Devil of the Forest
  • Sasquatch
  • Windigo
  • The Hairy Man
  • Yahyahaas
  • Yeti
  • Nun Yunu Wi
  • The Stone Man
  • The Stone Coats
  • Rugaru
  • The Big Man
  • Woods Devils
  • Skunk ape
  • Zoobie
  • Momo
  • Nuk-Luk
  • Devil Monkey
  • Mount St. Helens Gorillas

But at our house, we just like to call him, "Jonfoot."  ;-)
Sasquatch
(I confess I'm a little partial to "Zoobie," but that's not important right now. =D)
