She Just Kept Swimming...

It's been 13 years since Disney/Pixar released the animated classic, "Finding Nemo." I remember watching it along with my kids and being delighted with the story (as always) and falling in love with the characters, particularly Dory, the friendly, but forgetful regal blue tang fish voiced by the funny and talented Ellen DeGeneres.

Dory was (and still is) my favorite because I can totally relate to her adorable forgetfulness. I remember thinking, "THAT'S ME!" I also quickly adopted her mantra, "Just Keep Swimming." In fact, I still say it pretty often. 

I was so excited to learn that Disney/Pixar was taking us back to the sea with their upcoming animated release, 'Finding Dory' which can be seen in theaters everywhere on June 17th, 2016.

Disney/Pixar's 'Finding Dory' reunites everyone's favorite forgetful blue tang, Dory, with her friends, Nemo and Marlin on a search for answers about her past. What can she remember? Who are her parents? And where did she learn to speak Whale??

Here's where it gets really good...

I was invited by Disney/Pixar (along with 24 other fabulous bloggers) for a visit to the Monterey Bay Aquarium - a key spot in the upcoming film - and I'll get to meet and interview the amazing filmmakers themselves, including 2 time Oscar-winning Director Andrew Stanton. (I know. Shut up.)

Can you say, "out-of-my-skin excited?" 

Our group of 25 bloggers will be treated to a private screening of selected footage from the film. We'll be attending a reception and receive a VIP tour of the beautiful Monterey Bay Aquarium, as well as luxury accommodations at the amazing InterContinental The Clement Monterey on Cannery Row in Monterey.
