This is what my life looks like today

Amy Kikita reminded me that she had officially reinstated Self-Portrait Tuesdays last week and I totally spaced because I spent a large portion of my day driving my people to different places.

So here they are.... tarde pero seguro:

We didn't plan the car theme.  We're just accidentally cool that way. =D

The Official Re-Instatement of Self-portrait Tuesdays

A couple of years ago Mami decided to do an art journal. She had all these creative exercises . . . one of which was called "Self-Portrait Tuesdays."

The idea was to get used to seeing yourself on film. You know how we all are . . . we love to hide from the camera. Nobody likes how they look in pictures. This was an exercise in getting used to it. (This exercise later led to the blog we all know and love, which is TOTALLY important right now. =D)

In fact, she once wrote about this really fun art journal (which is completely private) here.

Now, as you can see, she was not the one taking the pictures all the time . . . in fact, MOST of the time she hired Lucy.

But I had to work on Tuesdays, so I was on my own . . . but I did it. I participated. Every Tuesday I would take a picture of myself and send it in. Like homework.

Yeah, I know mine isn't as cool as Mami's, but it made me into a FABULOUS cell phone photographer if I do say so myself.

Anyway, I've decided this was really fun to do and would like to invite you all to play along . . .

It's Tuesday. We start right now. I will be posting my Tuesday pictures on my facebook, so add me (Amy Hohneker) as a friend and share! It's just a self-portrait.

You can start your own art journal . . . or you could email them to us . . . or you could just take them and delete them. (But I'd love to see what you come up with!)
